SPF, DKIM and DMARC for Titan Email
Short answer: Titan Email mail passes Gmail, Yahoo and Microsoft checks when you turn on DKIM with your own domain, add include:spf.titan.email to your one SPF record
and publish a DMARC record at _dmarc (start with p=none). The exact records and clicks are below.
| SPF | TXT at @ | v=spf1 include:spf.titan.email ~allTitan is the mailbox many registrars and hosts bundle (Hostinger, Namecheap, WordPress.com and others). Exception: GoDaddy's "Professional Email powered by Titan" uses GoDaddy's own records (see the GoDaddy guide). Combine with your other senders → |
|---|---|---|
| DKIM | CNAME / TXT | TXT record at the host name shown in the Titan Control Panel (usually titan1._domainkey), with the key Titan generates for your domain. |
| DMARC | TXT at _dmarc | v=DMARC1; p=none; rua=mailto:dmarc@yourdomain.comStart with p=none and a
mailbox you read, or a free report address that turns the reports into a dashboard; build your own. |
Step by step
- Point MX at
mx1.titan.email(priority 10) andmx2.titan.email(priority 20), and delete the old MX records. - Add
include:spf.titan.emailto your one SPF record at@(TXT type). - In the Titan Control Panel open Email Reputation, generate the DKIM record, and add the TXT host name and value it shows at your DNS provider.
- Back in Titan, confirm you added the record and click Verify. DNS can take a few hours.
- Publish DMARC at
_dmarcwithp=noneand watch the reports before enforcing.
Mistakes that break it
- Many DNS panels add your domain automatically: enter
titan1._domainkey, nottitan1._domainkey.yourdomain.com, or the record ends up at the wrong name. - Old MX or SPF records from a previous provider are the most common reason Titan mail fails. Remove them.
- The DMARC record goes at
_dmarc, not at@.
